Well it was an old 500 Mhz machine with 64 M on board so we decided to upgrade the hard drive, and went to windows xp (now it takes probly 4 mins to boot up. So we got a new intell MB and new chip and mem, and I ASSUMED that I could just switch parts out and it would just run.
Now when I boot the machine a screen comes up with a couple of different choices the one that is highlited is Start windows normaly, I hit enter it reboots to the same screen.
I made a Boot disk from my machine and tried to use it and I can get to A: but cant go anywhere from there.
I have the CD from the mother board but cant get to it.
I read something about preparing windows to goto another MB but the machine doesnt do what the site it should. Thanks for your time I ll check back.
