it's a Dell system. the Dimension E310. my network/video/sound is onboard, and i have 1 sata drive, 2 IDE drives.
i do have all the drivers i'll need.
any insight to problems i might encounter would be much appreciated :)
(note: im posting this because i know, for example, too much ram in win98 actually hurts performance, etc etc)

It would run 2000.But I would dual boot 2000-xp because of xp service packs and updates keep you safer on the internet. set your partition size to 130 gb or less for 2000 and save the rest for xp. I have ran 2000 on a amd 2.4 with 1gb ram.
