Re: Installing 98 onto Vista PC

Hello,

Looking up certain information on this thread, yes, it is almost impossible to install W98/SE on a vista ready computer because on vista ready computers the drivers for vista have been loaded and if you were to load W98/SE onto a vista ready computer, you would be getting BSOD's generated almost everytime you start up your computer because the hardware does not have the default drivers or the drivers are not supported by W98/SE, so my choice would be to stay with the vista ready computer for your own safety and to save you money of making people pay you around $200-300 to re-install windows vista for you.
