When a HDD fails Electronically or mechanical there is not much you can do about it. If the data is extremely important it can be sent back to WD and they can take it a part and install the platers in a new drive and recover the data. This costs BIG bucks.
The PCB they are talking about is on the bottom of the drive and is green.
Thank you very much Oldmn for you quick response.
Yes you are right..my platters are and media is just fine..but the Green board (PCB) has been dead and I can't send the HDD to WD because I dont have this option.

Now you have anymore solution for that?

P.S:

Thanks man for your response.
the drive does not spin while ticking but now there is one more thing happening..the drive is not even take a breath (not ticking anymore)...when I plug in and push the pc on while taking HDD into my hand ..I feel no life in the HDD???

thanks
