Oh WOW. Okay I solved it extremely simply and easily. It's rather embarrassing actually. It works fully, all my files are back and accessible and with proper names, folders, everything, my drive even has it's old name.
All I did was install Service Pack 2.
It must have just been because of the drive capacity and it being able to read the large drive before (because I had sp2 before). I was trying to avoid installing service pack 2 this time because I wasn't a fan of it (it's not light software, etc). I am actually amazed that a windows thing fixed it.
Well there you go, thanks for the really quick reply eneles. I figure you knew it was sdb instead of sda because my Drive E was the second drive in disk management? Anyways thanks again
