I'm staying with my aunt in Australia, and their router was working perfectly fine for about a year. Then the internet started to get really slow and lagging, and then the computer totally died. They had to get a brand new hardrive installed and ever since the router has not worked on the computer.
We have 3 computers. The main computer, which the router is connected to, and then two other computers which are (trying) to recieve the signals.
The router is a:
Belkin Wireless G Router - 2.4 GHz-802.11g
Model No. F5D7230-4
Ver. 6003au
Ther wireless adaptors are:
Belkin Wireless G adaptor 802.11g - 54mbps
This morning, when the router was connected the internet on the main computer was working fine, but the two others weren't. Then, We unplugged the router and reset it back to factory settings, and the internet worked on ONE other computer, but no the main one. I tired a few other thigns i saw on these forums, like changing the TCP/IP to:
IP: 192.168.2.5
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1
DNS Server: 192.168.2.1
but that didnt work, and now the IP adress is different again

NOW, the internet doesn't work on ANY of the computers when the router is plugged. The Main computer says 'Little or no Connectivity', and the other two say 'connected', but the net and msn aren't working.
We have phoned OptusNet once, and Belkin 4 Times!! (They kept telling us to reset the router then hanging up!) We re totally out od ideas!
The internet works fine on the main computer when plugged directly into the tower!
We are totally stumped and would appritiate as MUCH help as possible! Thanks Muchlies!
