One question tho, is it supposed to connect the HDD on the end of the cable or in the middle (Master or Slave connector) ?

The drive you want as master always goes on the END of the ribbon cable.

Thats as Im only using one HDD atm.

One more thing, its got nothing to do with RAIDS, does it?

Raid should be set to operate as standard IDE in that area since you need those connectors for your cd type drives which are not raid configurable.

Cause if I connect 2 HDD in the same cable and in a yellow IDE slot, it doesnt log in to windows, but it allows me to create some array bettween the 2 HDD, Im not sure!

If you have it hooked as you just describe with it set to IDE mode, then it should work in most instances instead of creating an array.

When trying these things, always check the Boot area of the bios to make sure the boot order is set to:

CDrom -1st
Floppy - 2nd
Hard Drive - 3rd (if it is listed in there)

Also, with this setup, make sure you have the Hard Drive Priority in the Boot area of the bios set to Hard Drive listed first.

Thx..
