normally you would connect the h/d to the yellow and cd/dvd to the blue slot

Ok, so I did it all as u said, and..
If I connect the HD into the yellow slot and the 2 dvd-roms into the blue on one cable, then we got 2 options happening:
#1 If I select IDE RAID CONTROLLER as, ENABLED, on my bios:
Bios detects both dvd-roms, doesnt detect HD, but shows it on the boot menu, and on the boot screen; but right after that screen appears, the computer stops with a black screen with an underscore on the left top corner blinking! Looks like the cpu is working, but ive left it for hours with no results!
#2 If I select IDE RAID CONTROLLER as, DISABLED, on my bios:
Bios detects both dvd-roms, doesnt detect HD, neither shows it on boot menu; When booting, it goes to a black screen saying: "Please insert the boot disk on the boot drive and press any key or re-boot computer and set a boot drive from the boot menu (which doesnt show the HD, but only the 2 dvd-roms)
Well, Im not gona quit, I got this computer for 3 years and never fixed that, lol.. but now I really wanna get the solution, cause it seems a very popular problem, but which I couldnt find yet solution over the internet!
Isnt there ANYONE whos supposed to know what the hell is this???
Its almost impossible to be true, so please guys stay with me, and let me know what would you do to get it solved, or what should I do, if you know the solution!
Theres some guy talkin about deleting the upperfilter and lowerfilter on some key registry, and restart the computer, I did that too with no results!
I dont know if theres some restrict steps I should do it through,..
Well, let me know your thoughts.
Thx!
