Sounds like the router is about to, or already has, bit the dust.

I'd do the following.

Some things you can try here.
  1. Update the firmware to the latest version available on the manufacturer's site.
  2. Reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure.

Many times these measures will resolve a lot of intermittent issues.

If that doesn't get the wired connection working to the router, it's almost surely dead.
