Re: Inetrnet connection - wired - no connection

Thanks Tell me if I have this correct. Install the new card go to network connections, local area connections, properties, uninstall the network card (existing card is a realtec RTL 8139/810X family Ehernet NIC#2), then configure the new card. Or should I just disable the existing card at properties? I was thinking of getting the Linksys Ethernet desktop adapter LNE100TX, or the Linksys Gigabit network adapter EG1032, one more, NETGEARŪ 10/100 MBPS PCI Ethernet Network Card. I could also spend the extra bucks and go wireless. Just a waste of all that wire and the possible introduction of other things to go wrong.
