Isn't there more of this now (the past two years) than ever in the history of the USA? If the answer is no, then we are headed in the right direction. However, if the answer is yes, then where is the Democrat restraint since Congress controls the purse strings and must pass the budgets? They are in power in the house and senate, aren't they or am I missing something here?

Mimo, I wasn't looking for a political hack job and a dodge of the questions. I wanted some answers to these important questions. Can you answer them or not? No, I do not like the fact that Bush had some responsibility the past two years because he did not veto the Democrat spending proposals that were passed by a Democrat controlled House and Senate. That is a fact.
Tell me about the past two years of Harry Ried and Whatever her name is from California. Remembering of course that the Democrat majority controls congress and the budget final approval. The President only proposes budgets, and Congress alone must approve before a penny can be spent.
While you were at it, who in the House is the biggest "earmark" spender in the whole congress. I think he is a
Democrat named......hint, he used to be in the military. You tell me who it is and what the Democrats have done to shut that down as they originally promised.
