Re: Firefox not responding, yet again....

Firefox defaults to 50 mb of storage space (cache). The cache basically retains images and web pages visited for quicker loading next time and for working offline with them. This can, over a period of time accumulate a lot of stuff which can impede Firefox speed and performance.

You can empty the cache manually by:-
Tools > Options > Advanced (tab) > Network (tab) > Offline Storage > Clear Now

You can clear the cache automatically every time you close Firefox:-
Tools > Options > Privacy (tab) > Private Data > Here you can select (tick box) to clear your private data every time you close Firefox by using the Settings button.
