Intel Package and Compatability

Hello everyone,

I've been looking for someone to help me out with upgrading my custom built PC. I was looking at the Intel package - (http://www.compusa.com/applications/...=WARRANTY#tabs) - and I am not really sure how to make sure it compatible with my current hardware. Other than DXdiag, I'm not sure how to get detailed information about what hardware I'm running. Oh that and SandraLite but that doesnt give me full info - I'll post that log.

**My main concern was this line from the Intel Package website:

"Please note that all processors may be returned only for defective exchange. You must purchase a compatible heatsink and fan on the same order as the processor in order to preserve your warranty or exchange privilege."

I have no idea what or where the heatsink is....sorry for all the noob questions! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(Also does this seem like a good deal? :P)
