Re: PC wont boot suspect hdd prob

Well, double and triple checked everything, tried every different config i can think of, got it all laid out on a sheet of cardboard, M/board, psu, monitor, start button, thats it, nothing else and nothing happening, also tried with/without mem stick. All i have is the green led on m/board and cpu/psu fans spinning.

Found others with identical problems but no solution except replace m/board.

Was hopeful of this one but no deal,

Looks like we are probably done here but before i go, is it some kind of netiquette thing or is there another reason why your hardware tech colleagues have totally ignored this thread. I know everyone is a volunteer and you all do a good job but while everyone is off helping people with comparitively minor problems, this pc is not doing anything at all.

Many thanks Nicholas, for at least trying to help me, i suppose all that remains is to figure out how to find a compatible m/board but don't even know where to start.
