Hey man, I'm experiencing exactly the same problem...

I got like 160GB External HD, since i used bittorrent, I downloaded like movies every night. so I moved them to external HD.

yesterday when I open movies folder in the external HD. I got the error message. This is always happen when I tried to open movies, copy, or move it...

have you got the solution to this? hmm, how about formatting the HD? have you try it?
