Thanks for your help with this issue and the one I had yesterday with my other computer. I am assuming that I can save this file to a disk and transfer to my other computer since I can not get on the internet with it.

I definately will be making a donation - what you all are doing is great. I found this site by looking for a way to fix a file called Surf Sidekick2 that my wife contracted on our computer at home (apparently some other users of your site have had the same problem). There are some files with this that can not be deleted manually and keep appearing under start-up of the msconfig, no matter if I take them off or not. When I went home to try and fix this, I discovered that I had the WinSock problem - I don't know if this was related to anything she contracted or not or if it was just coincidence.
