Well I'd rather have this conversation in my thread as that's where it's relevant, but I don't think it is a flash update as a user with admin rights on the same machine can view the images fine, like I say, it sounds like a permissions or local settings issue, which one I just don't know.

and yes, the 4-pin will matter
