Did you use any software to transfer data between the HDD's? Or did you format the drive and planned on re-installing your OS? Is the drive enabled to use in your BIOS set-up? Also, try tapping F2 (for most Dell's) at the Dell splash screen to go to the boot menu and try to change the boot sequence to boot from your new drive.
