I have bought another PC from the Flea Market. If I change the IDE cable and there is no change can I swop the Hard Drive over? Will it be automatically recognised or will I have to make some changes in the BIOS?
I started out knowing nothing but this exercise is improving my knowledge and if I get this working for my sister that would be a bonus.
