johnwill:
I have looked at using the alternate network configuration as described at the lockergnome site. Unfortunately, this tab/option only becomes available if you select "Obtain an IP address automatically" as your primary configuration... So in my case, where I use a static IP with port forwarding at home, I must make this the alternate (secondary) configuration. I am able to connect to my home network under the primary (automatic) configuration, so my alternate settings are never used... at home or at school - where I MUST use automatically assigned IP. To sum up, I need the user-specified IP and DNS to be attempted first and if it fails (when at school) to obtain an IP address automatically. Any ideas?
