Re: system wont boot after cpu upgrade.

asus P5E-VM HDMI (nice board)

some ram just doesn't get along with some boards. It happens. To say it's bad by only testing it in one board is premature but after a couple you start to get the picture. hey if it's brand ram, you can probably get a new stick under the lifetime warranty.
