Partioned Hard Drive Gone/"Offline" ?
So my school laptop running Windows XP Pro Vers. 2002 SP2 come with the hard drive partioned (MBR) into C: and D:
I had been installing at least 6 programs that day.
I was rebooting after installing I believe Quicktime 6.5 and during the reboot got a blue screen.
Now the D drive is gone, when I try to open it, it asks me to format disk.
System Management says it is healthy.
System properties says its status is "Offline"
During my troubleshooting I ran a program call BIOS Wizard, which immediately sent me to a blue screen about driver irql, both times I tried it.
My only thought are that maybe quicktime affected the IRQ settings or that the blue screen boot affected a driver, but I know next to nothing.
Please help
