Hi to you, too, bhahar84, and thanx for your kind input. There have been new developments since my post: have learned that the DVD I was trying to import into MovieMaker was blank (who knew?), so the issue now is to buy a new camcorder that has "plug-it-into-my-computer" capability with which I can import homemade video into MovieMaker. So the new question is a) which camcorder is the best for showing on national TV, and b) should I choose IE 1394 Firewire cable or USB plug? BTW, how did you end up in Malaysia (love the photo)? Thanks again for your time/info!
