sobeit666 already pinpoint the issue. Whenever the S.M.A.R.T error appears, it indicates we cannot do anything with the hard drive.
Your hard drive might be in a verge of failing. Try to backup all the important files on there before it failed totally.
If you're still in warranty, you might want to contact the manufacturer. They might replace the drive for you
