Some nice detail there Donald (and pics) it would be interesting to see the comparison between the two amounts of arctic silver.
It was interesting to see your Graph 1 that the temp of core 0 and core 2 were higher than 1 and 3 which made me think with the heat sink being slightly concaved (as you pointed out) that core 0 and 2 might be positioned where there is the thickest layer of Zalman thermal paste (concaved gap) but when you used the artic silver they came more together. I also noticed that throughout it all core 0 was mostly higher apart from a spike where 2 was highest but that might be due to the work being assigned to the various cores which is waaaaaay over my head
