Single Drive means take the jumper off right?

The Controller has 2 IDE slots, a blue and a white one.

If i plug the blue end of the IDE cable into the blue slot, it locks at Verifying DMI or w/e.

Only when I plug the blue end of the IDE cable into the WHITE slot does it run the CD-ROM drive.
