BY THE WAY: You just found out why I advise anyone who asks
NOT to place actual files on your desktop. In your case, downloads.
I have a folder on my system
C:\Loadzone and all downloads go there.
Some download managers create a
C:\Download folder by default.
The desktop should ONLY have shortcuts
