Unlocking file sharing for Program Files

I need to unlock file sharing between 2 computers on a network to 1 Program File folder. They are both running vista32. I have searched all night with no luck and only hope that someone here has an answer. This is for a flight simulation game that can use another computer to run a few separate programs that add features to the game. People are not reporting problems while using XP. So I know this can be done, the question lies with Vista and is capabilities. I have share my whole C drive then program files then the folder that I need to be able to get into, but when I try to access the folder from my secondary computer it lets me know that access is denied. I can access pretty much any other folder on the computer other than program files. Any help??

Thanks!
