Try removing all but 1 stick of RAM, then clear the CMOS by unplugging the power cord, remove the battery, and move the CLRTC jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3. Leave the jumper for about ten seconds then return it to pins 1-2. Replace the battery, plug in the power cord and power on. If it POSTs successfully enter the BIOS and load defaults.

How many sticks of RAM do you have?
What BIOS did you update to?
What was your old BIOS version?
