okay.. so its not fixed yet...
it seems that if I remove the hardware in device manager and reinstall it it will connect... but then as soon as I restart the system It will only connect with limited or not connectivity. so it will not get an ip.. so I have to uninstall it again and reinstall.. I have tried 3 different wireless network cards so this must be something in windows causing this.
