I did a little searching on lapping results and what I found showed the results for a Q6600. Only about 2° per core when lapping just the HS, better results when lapping both.

I would think your load temp would be little better than that, since you're not at 100% CPU usage and running at stock speed. Are you using the fan control that came with the Zalman or plugged straight into the MB header? I would let it spin at full speed.
