This stop error can be brought on by faulty memory. Download memtest86 onto a floopy disk and set the bios to boot from floppy first to run the program. If your 512mg of memory is one stick test it for 3-4 passes and report back. If it errs out quickly, try moving it to another ram slot and test again. Mike
