hi,
I have a PC i assembled myself back in 2005 in Cochin, Kerala, India.
My config - Amd athlon 64 2800,
MSI RS 480 M1 Motherboard,
512Mb Kingston DDR Ram,
Seagate 80Gb HD,
Benq DVD ROM,
Tech-com ATX 350 watt poWer supply 220/110 AC, 50/60Hz
on board sound card, lan card and 128 Mb ati radeon graphics

I run MS Win XP Sp 2.

Recently, I've been having trouble turning on my PC.
When i turn it on, initially, the monitor led used to just blink. So i replaced my ram With a brand new one (a friends advice). This Worked for a While.
Then, my computer started restarting after a couple of hours.
Now and then, it powers on. other times, it says hard disk cable failure.

Off late, if i press the power button, it doesn't turn on. It starts on its on after 20 minutes or so, but the monitor doesnt turn on.

Ive replace my hard disk and cables twice and there's still no use. I've tried givin it to repair to a number of places but they don't seem to know what the problem is.(Some say smps is screwed, some say HD, some say RAM, some say motherboard

)
Can someone help me out please

. If someone can get me on the right track, i can recommend to the repair guys what to do ......
