Hi, re-download ComboFix and perform that step again. Type 1 and press Enter at the prompt. Let ComboFix do it's thing, which at that point is installing the Recovery Console. Post back the log it produces, CF-RC.txt.

Do NOT reboot your machine until I've reviewed that log.

From the Guide:

# Once the Microsoft file has finished downloading, you should drag it on top of the ComboFix icon and let your mouse button go. This is shown in the following image.





# ComboFix will now automatically install the Windows Recovery Console onto your computer, which will show up as a new option when booting up your computer. Do not select the Windows Recovery Console option when you start your computer unless requested to by a helper.
