Don't you just love the bureaucrats!

At an old job, my boss was away for a few days, in my first couple of weeks. Feeling the responsibility, I was extra vigilate to make sure that things didn't go wrong on my watch. While checking a couple of public network shares, I came across a password sniffer/cracker. Thinking that the main company network drive was not the best place for it, I moved it to my local PC, and awaited my boss's return. Less than 24hrs later, however, I get escorted from the building - I am told that my boss has remote-connected, found I have "hacking tools", and I have already been sacked for gross misconduct!!! I see am am lucky they didn't take me to court as well!
