[SOLVED] No monitor signal
I bought a new motherboard and powersupply back in July. For christmas I went to upgrade my graphics card and my RAM. I upgraded my graphics card to 256MB, but when I put my 1GB of ram into the second DIMM slot next to a 256MB DDR memory stick, my computer didn't recognize the new memory. I thought I would have to do a BIOS update, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions. So I thought I'd just switch the memory sticks and see if that would change. Well, I did so. I plugged everything back in and turned back on my computer. But I was recieving no signal.
I tried unplugging and plugging in my monitor back into the VGA outlet on my graphics card, but still nothing. I noticed after a while that one of the pins in the monitor plugin was missing. And I was having problems before when I plugged it into the graphics card, but I was able to get it to work that time. So I tried a different monitor, but still no signal.
I switched around the memory sticks. I left one in and the other out. I tried tapping the spacebar, arrow keys, enter, and clicking on the mouse to get a signal.
If anyone would tell me what my problem is that would be great.
