I would try installing the drive into a USB external enclosure / boot into windows first then connect the drive once windows is UP?

if you buy the external enclosure from a box store / you can return the enclosure if it doesnt work for you ?

if you know a reasonable PC shop, some of them will do this for you ??


but i would agree with Eneles, I think you PCB is defective


I will try to find one, you may have to buy a used but working drive off ebay, then remove the PCB from the good drive and put it on the bad drive, that is what I have been stuck doing most of the time in your situtation
