I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which is running Win 98. I will be taking it out of town with me this week, and would like to be able to use the hotel's wireless high-speed Internet access.

I am told I can buy a PCMCIA card which will enable me to use the computer online at the hotel, but this is way beyond my scope of knowledge.

Can anyone give me some tips on what I should buy? I know there's a "B" and a "G", but the hotel tells me their router is a "D".

I could use some help in plain English.
