Also click "show hidden devices" and uninstall any flagged items in Device Manager at the same time.
The verbal frivolities make the technical details of your problem harder to read & understand.
If you are going to run the mouse as PS/2, it needs to be plugged in as such prior to boot.
Further, this mouse should run as a basic mouse with the standard driver, there is nothing exotic about it. If it is not doing so, there is a very good chance that it is because of something you have done/not done and/or are doing/not doing. So re-invest the sarcastic energy into some self-exploration as the potential benefits are greater and more in your interest.
