Changed the graphics card and now the display works, surely the graphics card and the psu weren't both faulty = ( Get a new monitor 2mo that has DVI inputs so I'll test that monitor with the 8800 GT I've got then to see if it picks up any signal. Bah this has been one troublesome build!
