Dell Smartstep 250 boot problem

Hi,

due to repeated overheating of my CPU, I just opened up my Dell SmartStep 250 and removed lots of dust from the cooling fan. I took care not to bend any pins of the microprocessor, but after reassembling everything, the notebook just won't start again. The colling fan does work though, and I can open the dvd drive, but no booting occurs. I have removed and reconnected both memory modules one by one, but that didn't solve the problem. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Thomas
