Check to see if the MB clear CMOS jumper is on normal or clear. Usually it's 3 pins, jump 1-2 is normal operation and 2-3 is clear CMOS. A few motherboards I had from ASRock the jumper was on the clear CMOS and the board wouldn't boot. Check your MB manual for exact specs for your MB.
