The MaxAttach was a 1U rackmount RAID NAS system with space for 4 IDE drives, running an appliance version of Windows 2000 on a stock PC m'board in a headless, web-administered enviroment. I have a long post about it in another part of this forum.

I suspect that the information in the document I linked to will help get the MaxAttach up & running for the new owner by following the procedure stated in the manual. Many similar NAS & Modem-Router units I have come across use the same technique. I don't know if it's a standard or not but worth trying
