You might check the Hard Drive Priority in the Bios setup menu to make sure that drive is listed in there first. Some times when in there, it defaults to IDE and then won't work.
Also, check your boot order to see that it also is listed to boot from. Then, be sure that you have all Sata items enabled in your setup menu.
One last thing, make sure you didn't somehow dislodge your ribbon cable from that drive, they just don't fit very tight on Sata and are easy to dislodge and lose the connection.
