Does the Spyware Doctor version you have include antivirus ?

It's always best to never have more that one antivirus program installed
I suggest you keep avast and uninstall BitDefender1 and Spyware Doctor antivirus if that's installed.
instead get occasional onlines scans, they are free.

Uninstall the older versions of suns jave via addremove programs
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03
Java(TM) 6 Update 2
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

Unlike antivirus programs we recommend using several differant antispyware prorgams but
you should only use ones resident shield

Click the Windows 'Start' button > Select 'Run' - then copy/paste this into the run box & click OK

"%userprofile%\desktop\dss.exe" /daft

Click on Scan.

Tick the boxes which should appear for these entries:

.js - JSFile - shell\open\command - %SystemRoot%\System32\CScript.exe "%1" %*
.reg - unable to read key
.reg - unable to read key
.reg - unable to read key
.vbs - VBSFile - shell\open\command - %SystemRoot%\System32\CScript.exe "%1" %*

then Click on Fix

Click Scan again, you should get a message "All Associations OK!" Next, click Save Log, and post this log in your next reply.
