Also many poeple take the bible too litterally. Poeple forget, the bible wasn't writen in English.
It was written in Hebrew, then translated.
And as any bilingual individual will tell you certain phases in one language makes no sense in another.
Example today I saw a sign on a truck that said "Immer unterwegs fur sie" now direct translation
Always underways for you
Doesn't mean the exact same thing, in fact as I was thinking of it closet thing I could ocme up with is
We are always on the move for you. Which quite frankly isn't nearly as catchy.
Now this is just one example, and the german/english langauge is closely related. Can you imagine the hebrew phases, and words that simply do not have a direct meaning in the english langauge and can be translated to mean 2 or more things.
Like some poeple say in the bible it says god dissapproves of homosexuality. Well whose to say that orginally it talked about how he did approve of it. With some different langauges being translated into each other the meaning is easily messed up.

So, you believe is Jesus, yet don't believe he has the ability to retain his word in the form of a book, without being altered to an extent that the message is changed? You say you believe in god yet deny his book, which he DEMANDS you follow. Jesus teaches on faith, maybe you could learn a few things about it. If you don't hav faith, then how can you even believe in god to begin with?
