This might be outside your skill set, but what I would like to do is manually delete the 12 infected files in the sent folder. I have reinstalled Thunderbird, but I don't know how to overwrite the new settings with this old sent folder. The trash and junk folders have been deleted, but there is stuff in the sent folder I want to keep. Deleting that entire file would undo a lot of what I was trying to accomplish in transferring over items from old hard drives.

Do I need to hit the mozilla forums in order to get instructions on how to do this/
