Question CISCO 2950 for DSL connection - lan

I would like to use a Cisco 2950 Switch to connect my home Network to my DSL connection. I had a D-Link router in place that died recently and do not have anything else but the 2950 to use.
Issues:
provider only allows for DHCP with my package

My questions are:
1. can I use the 2950 for this purpose?
I need it to be able to grab a dynamic ip from my provider
2. understand that I might be able to use the 2950 to handle my DHCP function, is that true, is there a link that explains how to do this?

That's it for now

TIA
