Hello all!

Hope everyone had a good turkey day!

I have a Sony Hard Drive Video camera, and cannot upload the videos to my laptop, (Compaq EVO N610c 2.4 Ghz, w. Win XP SP2, and 2GB RAM)
I have never been able to upload, and am at my wits end.
When I try with either the Sony Picture Motion Browser software, or the copy and paste method, it starts to upload to the laptop, and after about 20 seconds, the laptop completely freezes. CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing, and I have to Hold the Fn-Pwr buttons to turn it off, to get the comp. to come back on after it restarts.

Any ideas?? Sony support says I will have to go to the Level 2 Tech Support center during weekday hours, because they can't figure it out.
