most likely the video is intregrated into the motherboard. It may not be as simple as pulling it out like in a desktop.

One thing to check, when you turn on your computer, listen closely, does it sound like its turning on as normal with fans, lights and such but only without any screen? If so, then it could just be bad ram. Maybe pulling the ram and putting it back in will help.

Personally I wil not take apart a laptop because so much could go wrong. I will do the simple stuff like replacing ram, drives and such but if it requires taking apart the case, then I will take it to an expert.
